16 years in tech, the last 5 of them in banking. These days I work mostly with Malaysian businesses that have outgrown their spreadsheets and manual processes. I help work out what's actually needed, build it, and stay on to keep it running. Usually that means a website, some automation, or the cloud setup sitting under both.

Where it runs

Which platform depends on the project. A brochure site and a system taking orders all day don't need the same setup, and I'd rather not overbuild either one.

I've spent 16 years working on other people's systems, 11 of those inside technology companies and the last 5 in banking. Most of what I get called in for turns out to be a familiar problem, which helps, because I can usually tell early whether something is worth building at all. Anything to do with tech, I can point you in the right direction, and I'll tell you straight when the expensive option isn't the one you need. That happens more often than people expect. Often enough the answer is a smaller piece of software wired properly, or a change to how the work is done, which costs nothing.

Tell me what you're still doing by hand, what keeps breaking, or what you wish the system could do. No slides, and no invoice for the conversation.

I tell you what I would do

Sometimes that's a custom system. Sometimes it's a tool that already exists and costs a fraction of one. Sometimes you don't need anything, and I'll say so.

Build it

You see it taking shape as we go, instead of waiting months for one big delivery at the end.

Keep it running

Businesses change and so does everything a system depends on. I stay on for that part if you want me to. The code is yours either way.

Tech Solutions

This is usually the first conversation: what do you actually need, and what can wait.

It comes up when you're starting out and don't want to commit to the wrong stack, and again later when the setup that carried you this far has stopped keeping up. Either way what helps is an outside read from someone who has built the thing before.

We start with a chat. If there's work in it, we talk about that afterwards. No obligation either way.

Service 02

Automation

If the work is manual and repetitive, that's usually a good sign, because it means most of it can be handed to a machine.

Data entry, report generation, reconciliation, moving files between two systems that were never built to talk to each other. If a person follows the same steps every time, those steps can be written down and run without them.

This doesn't mean fewer people. It means the same people spending their hours on the work that actually needs a person.

Web Development

Most business websites don't need to be complicated. They need to load quickly, say the right thing, and still work six months after launch.

Websites start at RM2,999 a year. That covers the build, hosting, SSL, backups and ongoing maintenance, so it doesn't become another thing on your list to manage.

Service 04

Working with AI

Most of my own work runs through AI now, so anything I tell you about it comes from daily use rather than from reading about it.

The useful part is knowing where it fits. Some work it handles well. Other work it handles badly enough that checking the output costs more than doing the job yourself. I also run training for teams who want to use it properly instead of guessing.
